Nominations for The Pabst Community Impact Grant (awarded to individual artists only)
Supporting artists and art forms that are innovative, interdisciplinary, and diverse for ongoing impact in communities.
Individual artists with great ideas for impacting their communities are often disappointed because money and time are not on their side.
To make a great idea come alive and to create the environment in a community for impact requires support over an extended period of
time. The Pabst Foundation seeks to change the odds for individual artists through this grant, which has been awarded since 2010.
Artists across all disciplines may be nominated because of their current work and impact on community needs like wellness, environment,
or education. Grants will be awarded for at least $10,000 and, in some instances, will continue over a three-year period to ensure
project success.
We are particularly interested in the individual who proposes a project that impacts community and at the same time mentors new and
emerging artists who are already demonstrating promise in their respective fields.
For an artist to be considered for this grant, a professional artist/teacher or grant making institution, or an arts administrator,
who understands and knows that artist’s work must nominate him or her.
2014 grants have been allotted. Please check back in the future to apply for 2015.
